Lynn Aldrich received her B.A. in English Literature at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and her M.F.A. at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. From 1987-1998 she was an instructor in the Fine Arts Department of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.
Her artwork is part of the collections of The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and Biola University in La Mirada, CA. She has had many solo exhibitions throughout the world, most recently at the Sandroni Rey Gallery in Venice, CA, Art Affairs Gallery in Amsterdam, and Christenrose Gallery in New York City.
Her numerous group exhibitions have included
Site Specifics '98 at the Islip Art Museum in East Islip, NY,
My Favorite Femmes at the Jan Baum Gallery in Los Angeles, and
The Garden Show at the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art in Portland, OR. She has received a City of Los Angeles Individual Artist Fellowship Award and the Art Here and Now Los Angeles County Museum of Art purchase award. Her work has been discussed and reviewed in such publications as
